about

After a long slumber, Occoquain awakes in a fury with cruel and bizarre melodies on Demo IV.

Celebrating the triumph of the weak over death.
Available digitally and on limited cassette.

"Twilight Descends" basks in a 70s baritone mist before surrendering to the hopeless fuzz that swallows the proceedings.

"I Can't Live, I Can't Die" propels itself on a rusted gallop and shrieks emanating from beneath an old Virginia creek.

The lonely whistle announcing "Between the Heaves of Storm" gives way to time warping blasts, disembodied d-beat, and finally distant analog organ warble. Adapted from "I heard a Fly buzz - when I died -" by Emily Dickinson (1951).

Thank you all for your support. We make this for you.
